I was born in Northwick Park and have lived in the area my entire life.

I attended Mount Stewart Primary School and then Claremont High School so my ‘local’ knowledge is encyclopaedic.

As a local lad, nothing pleases me more than being in a position where Bryan Maher & Co sponsors and supports local schools.

My career in estate agency began 20 years ago as a wet behind the ears Junior Negotiator.

I was looking for a job that was interesting, enabled me to meet lots of different people and allowed me some freedom as I didn’t like the idea of being desk bound.

I quickly realised estate agency was what I was looking for and thankfully I was pretty good at it.

I’ve known Ian (co-founder of Bryan Maher & Co) since I was a child and both of us were managing offices for other people when we sat down over a coffee in 2006 and came up with the idea to set up our own agency.

Over the past decade we’ve worked relentlessly to build up a reputation for being an honest, hardworking and successful agency. It’s not always been easy but it has been enjoyable, challenging and rewarding.

My approach to work is simple. Tell the truth, always act in your clients’ best interest and look for the hidden potential which nearly all property has.

Experience has also taught me you can never stop learning and that’s why I’ve invested in my professional education and hold qualifications from the industry’s main regulatory bodies.

Away from the office I’m a father of five which keeps me very busy and I’m also a keen golfer and angler.

My idea of a perfect day is spending the morning tending to my garden (I grow my own vegetables), taking the kids and our two dogs out in the afternoon and having a meal at a nice restaurant with my wife, Lisa in the evening.

I was born and bred in this area and attended both primary and secondary schools within 2 miles of our office.

I’m proud of my local roots and it’s a community and area I know inside out.

From an early age, I’ve always been interested in property and have worked in the industry for more than 20 years.

During that time, I have only ever practiced in the area we serve and I feel this, coupled with growing up here, has given me unprecedented local knowledge and expertise.

I am fully qualified in residential sales and hold the National Association of Estate Agents Technical Award.

Our office is always busy and I am involved in all aspects of the company along with my long-time friend and business partner Victor Bryan.

We’re both family men, I have four children, Victor has five, and we like to extend that family feel to our team and our clients by treating people well. This is shown in the fact that both my wife Alison and my sister Maria work with us in differing roles.

We believe in honesty, openness and telling things as they are in a friendly, accurate way. This has really helped us grow as an Agency and improve as a business since we first opened our doors all those years ago.

I think my experience has taught me that every sale is different and that there is no such thing as a one size fits all approach.

By taking the time to listen to people, we work out what they want to achieve and how we at Bryan Maher & Co can help them do that.

For me there’s nothing better than a message from a delighted client having seen through a deal successfully.

My children are varying ages and certainly keep me busy outside of working hours by being a taxi to ferry them to all sorts of activities from tennis through to skiing.

When I do manage to grab some time for myself I’ll head to the gym, usually after the kids are in bed.

I started off as a Junior Negotiator in estate agency back in 1997.

That was a time way before the internet, smart phones and emails.

The world has changed hugely since I took my first steps as a young lad but some things remain the same.

Clients have always, quite rightly, wanted to be treated with courtesy, honesty and respect. And that hasn’t changed, neither has my passion and enthusiasm for the job.

For me it’s about providing a level of service above clients’ expectations and I genuinely get a huge amount of satisfaction from helping people successfully sell their property and find their dream homes.

I’m proud of the dozens of testimonials I have received from vendors and purchasers alike.

At Bryan Maher & Co, we all share the belief that everyone should be treated well and that applies to applicants and people selling or letting.

I’ve been a part of the team for ten years and enjoy the friendly atmosphere in the office and the professional approach to everything we do.

I have achieved a Platinum Level in Residential Sales, and I really feel I have become a valued member of the team having worked my way up to a senior position.

When I’m not working I love the simple things in life including listening to music, going on holiday with family and socialising with friends and my colleagues.

My route to building a career is probably not a typical one.

I’m originally from Uzbekistan and it was there I studied Political Science and International Relations at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in Tashkent.

Diplomacy and tact has certainly come in useful during the 12 years I’ve worked as an estate agent.

I have been at Bryan Maher & Co for seven years having previously worked at another Estate Agency locally. I remember at that time watching Bryan Maher & Co expanding rapidly and wanting to join the team.

When the opportunity came up to work here I jumped at it as I knew that Ian and Victor were good guys and had built a great team.

I love my job and the people I work with. Although it can be challenging at times and is a lot harder work than people imagine, when you help someone sell their home or find a property they love it’s all worthwhile.

I have a daughter who I adore and like to keep myself active with many interests including website development, graphic design, business networking, reading and martial arts.

I have a big interest in languages and can speak English, Russian, Uzbek and Turkish fluently.

I’m also musical and play the guitar and piano.

I grew up along with my brother Ian (who co-founded Bryan Maher & Co) in Wembley and attended the same two local schools as him.

I began working at a local solicitor firm before joining Ian and Victor at Bryan Maher & Co over 10 years ago in an admin role.

During that time, I took a break, if you can call it that, to raise my two energetic and lovely sons.

I was delighted to come back to work here just over 2 years ago when my boys went full time at school.

The agency offers me a part time role which allows me to enjoy a fantastic work/home life balance.

It really does feel like the best of both worlds.

I absolutely love working here as we have a real family environment, working alongside my brother and sister in law, and I have the known the other members of the team for many years.

It is such a positive and refreshing place to work with a lovely atmosphere.

Having a consistent team which has years of experience really helps our clients get the results they want.

My role is to help to maintain the smooth running of the day to day tasks in the office and that clients are well looked after.

Out of work I love spending time with my two children and watching them play football at their local club and ideally finishing the day with a leisurely stroll across Fryent Country Park. I also enjoy socialising with friends and family.

I was born and brought up in the Brent area and like almost all of the Bryan Maher & Co team went to both primary and secondary schools locally.

The company is close to my heart as my husband Ian Co-founded the Agency along with his friend Victor Bryan.

I am a Teacher and subject co-ordinator in a local Primary School during the week and come in on Saturdays to support the team.

Saturdays are always busy here with viewings and new enquiries coming into the office. I enjoy the hustle and bustle of the office, meeting and helping so many different people.

I love working with the rest of the team here as there is a great level of communication, teamwork and a good messaging service which helps the office run like clockwork.

Everyone is approachable and friendly making it a fantastic environment to work in.

Before completing my Teaching Degree, I had been working at Bryan Maher & Co and it is fantastic to now have the opportunity to continue to serve the local community in this way.

I am extremely proud of what Ian and Victor continue to build here and enjoy being a part of the Agency’s growing success.
